Open full-time Ceramic Glaze Hand-Dipping & Quality Inspection Operative vacancy at Lichfield Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 3EJ.
The role supports traditional ceramic production by hand-dipping decorated, easy-fire, Vit and glost ware, preparing and adjusting glaze, checking pint weights, using a viscometer to maintain glaze consistency, inspecting dipped ware and protecting product quality before the next production stage.
Pay: GBP 13.50 gross per hour. Working time: 39 hours per week. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 07:00-15:30 and Friday 07:00-14:00. Permanent full-time role.
Previous hand-dipping experience is preferred. Candidates should be accurate, safety-conscious and able to follow glaze-preparation methods, PPE requirements, production targets and quality procedures.
