Aluminium Window & Door Fitter

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting experienced Aluminium Window and Door Fitters for a temporary full-time assignment with a published reporting and mobilisation base at Unit 11, EBL Centre, Picow Farm Road, Runcorn, Cheshire WA7 4UA. UK-wide project travel and working away may be required. The role covers commercial and high-end residential aluminium glazing, including shopfronts, aluminium windows and doors, sliding and bi-folding doors, automatic doors, structural glazing and fire-rated systems where assigned. Duties include checking openings and drawings, preparing work areas, setting frames plumb, level and square, selecting packers and approved fixings, installing frames and glass units, fitting beads, gaskets, trims and hardware, completing perimeter sealing and weatherproofing, adjusting doors and windows, testing operation, completing snagging and remedial work, protecting finished surfaces and leaving a clean documented handover. The gross hourly rate is £22.00. The role is full time, normally Monday to Friday, with overtime and working away available according to the written assignment. Applicants must have at least three years of practical aluminium glazing experience, a current Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card for the relevant fenestration occupation, a GQA Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Fenestration Installation or recognised equivalent, a full UK driving licence, English for site safety and coordination, and the ability to travel and work away. IPAF and PASMA are advantageous where the assigned work requires access equipment. Applicants must already hold valid permission to work in the United Kingdom before travel. This MaViAl assignment does not provide UK visa sponsorship. Window fitters are classified under SOC 5317. Current official tables show a standard going rate of £33,400 per year or £17.13 per hour, but new sponsorship eligibility is route- and status-dependent and requires a licensed sponsor and Certificate of Sponsorship. Where the legal posting conditions are met, a Polish PDA1/A1 may confirm continued Polish social-security coverage; it is not a UK visa, right-to-work document, CSCS card, trade qualification or site authorisation.
