Automotive Transport Planner

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting an Automotive Transport Planner for a temporary full-time ongoing assignment at the published recruitment location of Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry, Warwickshire CV8 3BB. The role supports UK vehicle movements and includes scheduling and booking daily transport, sourcing cost-effective solutions through subcontract hauliers, selecting the correct transport equipment, monitoring subcontractor service levels, planning activity in line with drivers' hours and transport rules, maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers and operations, and supporting daily exception management. The gross PAYE rate is £14.35 per hour. The normal schedule is Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with Friday worked remotely under the published hybrid arrangement. Applicants need previous transport, logistics, dispatch or planning experience, strong customer communication, confidence using computer systems, and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams. Automotive logistics experience is beneficial. Applicants must already hold valid permission to work in the United Kingdom before travel. This MaViAl assignment does not provide UK visa sponsorship. Transport and distribution clerks and assistants are classified as Medium Skilled under SOC 4134; the published standard going rate is £33,400 per year or £17.13 per hour, but sponsorship in another role depends on the applicable route, a licensed sponsor and all current salary and immigration conditions. Where the legal posting conditions are met, a Polish PDA1/A1 may confirm continued Polish social-security coverage; it is not a UK visa, right-to-work document, professional qualification or client-site authorisation.
