Open full-time Precision Grinding & CNC Component Inspection Operative vacancy in Handsworth, Sheffield S13 8HS.
The role supports precision engineering production by operating specialist grinding machinery where trained, working with CNC crush grinders and Gockel grinding machines, loading and unloading materials, inspecting finished components, following engineering drawings and production procedures, and supporting safe manufacturing operations.
Starting pay: GBP 13.50 gross per hour during initial training. After successful completion of the first training level, the rate is GBP 14.36 per hour. Further increases depend on additional machinery and process training.
Initial training schedule: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 and Friday 07:00-13:00. After training, the rota moves to rotating 12-hour shifts, 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00, working 3 or 4 days per week, Monday-Friday only.
