Open full-time Heavy Manufacturing Grinding & Component Finishing Operative vacancy at 3 Kelbrook Road, Parkhouse Industrial Estate, Openshaw, Manchester M11 2DD.
The role supports heavy manufacturing by preparing metal components for finishing, using approved grinding tools where trained, removing burrs and rough edges, checking visible component condition, separating defective items, keeping parts identified and organised, and maintaining safe production areas.
Pay: GBP 15.86 gross per hour. Full-time rotating two-shift pattern: one week nights Monday-Wednesday 18:00-06:00; alternate week days Monday-Wednesday 06:00-18:00 and Thursday 06:00-14:00.
Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable with physical production work. Previous heavy manufacturing, grinding, metalwork, fabrication or production-line experience is useful. Training for role-specific grinding tasks can be provided.
