Industrial Electrician — Automation & Maintenance

Full-time Industrial Electrician vacancy in Te Rapa, Hamilton, New Zealand. The role focuses on industrial electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis and automation-related work across production equipment and plant electrical systems.

Base pay: NZ$42–48 gross per hour. Workplace: Te Rapa, Hamilton 3200, Waikato. Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time, on-site.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective electrical maintenance, fault finding on three-phase motors, MCCs, drives, sensors and control circuits, reading electrical schematics, testing and safe isolation, supporting plant uptime, and recording maintenance work.

Applicants must have relevant industrial electrical experience, be able to diagnose electrical faults systematically, and hold the registration and current New Zealand practising licence required for prescribed electrical work. Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand must be in place before employment starts.
