Commercial Fit-Out Carpenter

An experienced commercial fit-out carpenter is required for full-time on-site work in Auckland CBD, New Zealand.

Responsibilities include reading construction drawings, measuring and setting out work, timber framing and interior fit-out carpentry, installing doors and trims, completing accurate finishing work, checking quality, and following site health and safety procedures.

Applicants should have at least three years of professional carpentry or commercial fit-out experience, be able to work accurately from drawings, communicate sufficiently in English for site and safety instructions, and provide evidence of relevant work experience. A recognised carpentry trade qualification is preferred; equivalent documented experience may be considered.

The role is full-time and on-site in Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010. The scheduled workload is 40 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday. Base pay is NZD 40 to 45 gross per hour, depending on confirmed experience and skills. Additional hours, if required, are subject to the written employment terms.
