Sous Chef

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef for a temporary full-time assignment at 104 West Hill, Putney, Wandsworth, London SW15 2UQ. The role supports a residential, nursing and dementia care kitchen and includes assisting the Head Chef, planning and preparing nutritious meals, adapting menus to residents' dietary needs and preferences, supervising kitchen operations, maintaining food hygiene and allergen controls, mentoring kitchen staff, supporting ordering and stock rotation, coordinating special events and gathering feedback from residents and relatives. The gross hourly rate is £15.75 for 40 hours per week. The published care-home rota does not require late evenings; exact start and finish times and weekend rotation are confirmed in the written assignment. Applicants must hold Level 2 Food Safety, a Level 2 Catering and Hospitality qualification or equivalent, and have at least five years of commercial kitchen experience. Allergen and intolerance awareness is strongly preferred. Applicants must already hold valid permission to work in the United Kingdom before travel. This MaViAl assignment does not provide UK visa sponsorship. Other chef roles under SOC 5434 may be eligible for Skilled Worker sponsorship only through a licensed sponsor and subject to the current salary and immigration rules. Where the legal posting conditions are met, a Polish PDA1/A1 may confirm continued Polish social-security coverage; it is not a UK visa, right-to-work document, food-safety qualification or site authorisation.
