Role overview
MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting seasonal Fruit Pickers for a full-time temporary assignment at Hadlow Place Farm, Three Elm Lane, Tonbridge, Kent TN11 0BW, England. The guaranteed base rate for accepted MaViAl workers is £13.50 gross per hour. Piecework or productivity payments may increase gross earnings but cannot reduce the guaranteed hourly rate for hours worked. The assignment is planned from 1 September 2026 for up to six weeks. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, arrival at 07:30, paid work from 08:00 to 16:30, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break at noon. This provides 40 paid hours per week. Weather, crop condition and harvest volumes may affect daily tasks and the exact duration.Duties include picking apples, pears or other assigned fruit to the required ripeness and quality, handling produce carefully, filling and moving containers, separating damaged fruit, following row and orchard allocation, recording output where required, keeping paths and collection points clear, and supporting other general orchard tasks within the written assignment.Applicants must be at least 18 years old, submit an English CV, be physically able to stand, bend, reach, walk on uneven ground and lift filled containers, work outdoors in changing weather, follow quality and productivity rules, communicate basic safety information in English, travel to the farm by 07:30 each working day and already hold valid permission to work in the United Kingdom. No on-site accommodation and no UK visa sponsorship are included in this vacancy. The employment relationship remains with MaViAl Sp. z o.o. in Poland only where the posting and UK work arrangement are legally permitted and confirmed in writing. Work starts only after confirmation of the UK host organisation, exact reporting point, assignment dates, rate, piecework rules, paid hours, right-to-work evidence, transport, induction, PPE, insurance, tax treatment and social-security position. Portable Document A1 concerns social-security coverage and does not grant permission to work in the UK. A candidate relying on the Seasonal Worker route needs a Certificate of Sponsorship from an approved UK scheme operator; a Polish business-trip document does not replace that requirement.
