Machine Operator - Plastic Manufacturing

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting for an open Machine Operator - Plastic Manufacturing vacancy in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (NOC 94111).Pay: CAD 23.57 gross per hour. Exact weekly hours and shift pattern are specified in the written offer; manufacturing shifts may include days, evenings, nights or weekends depending on production needs.Responsibilities: set up and operate plastics-processing equipment; monitor temperature, speed, pressure and material flow within authorized operating limits; change dies or moulds where assigned; feed raw materials; inspect the quality of plastic products and material; make minor machine adjustments; record production information; maintain material inventory; keep the work area clean; report faults and unsafe conditions.Requirements: completion of secondary school is usually required for NOC 94111. Several years of experience as a helper, tender or packer in the same company may be required for some assignments. On-the-job training is provided. Depending on the machine family, courses in statistical process control, hydraulics, pneumatics or electronics may be requested.Temporary assignment from Poland: where the statutory and contractual conditions are met, a MaViAl Sp. z o.o. employee may be temporarily assigned from Poland to Canada. Under the Poland–Canada social-security agreement, Polish coverage may continue for up to 60 months and the applicable certificate is PL-CAN01. The current ZUS application is UM-CAN01.
