Janitor / Custodian

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting for an open full-time Janitor / Custodian assignment in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (NOC 65312).Pay: CAD 21.00 gross per hour. Hours: full-time, normally 40 hours per week; day, evening and weekend shifts may apply depending on the assignment.Responsibilities: clean and disinfect washrooms and common areas; sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors; empty waste and recycling containers; replenish supplies; operate standard commercial cleaning equipment; report maintenance or safety issues; perform basic safety checks and keep work areas orderly. Outdoor seasonal duties such as clearing snow or ice may be assigned where relevant.Requirements: reliability, ability to work with minimal supervision, safe use of cleaning chemicals and PPE, physical ability for standing, walking, bending and moving supplies, and sufficient workplace English to understand safety instructions. Secondary school or previous cleaning experience may be requested depending on the assignment.Poland–Canada assignment: where legally applicable, an employee of MaViAl Sp. z o.o. may be temporarily assigned from Poland to Canada. Polish social-security legislation may continue for up to 60 months when the conditions of the Poland–Canada agreement are met and a PL-CAN01 certificate is obtained from ZUS.
