Industrial Robotics and CNC Maintenance Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting an Industrial Robotics and CNC Maintenance Technician for a confidential advanced-manufacturing employer in Trollhättan, Sweden.

The position is full-time and on-site at Innovatum District, Nohabgatan, 461 53 Trollhättan. The listed base rate is 265 SEK gross per hour for 40 hours per week. Work follows rotating day and evening shifts, with planned night or weekend maintenance windows during commissioning, production changeovers and shutdown work.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial robots, CNC machine tools, servo systems, drives, sensors, safety circuits, conveyors and automated production cells.
• Diagnose electrical, control and mechanical faults using alarms, PLC or robot diagnostics, electrical drawings, machine documentation and measurement instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance, controlled component replacement, alignment checks, functional tests and restart verification.
• Support robot recovery, tooling and fixture checks, industrial-network fault finding, commissioning and planned maintenance shutdowns.
• Record fault causes, measurements, replaced components, completed work and follow-up actions in the maintenance system.
• Follow safe-isolation, lockout and tagout, machine-guarding, permit-to-work and site-safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational or technical education in industrial automation, mechatronics, industrial electricity, robotics, CNC maintenance or a related field, or equivalent documented experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, industrial robots, CNC systems or comparable production machinery.
• Practical competence with electrical drawings, PLC or robot diagnostics, servo drives, sensors and structured fault finding.
• English at B2 level or higher. Swedish is an advantage.
