Industrial Ventilation Controls and Maintenance Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting an Industrial Ventilation Controls and Maintenance Technician for a confidential industrial ventilation and technical services employer in Karlstad, Sweden.

The position is full-time and on-site in the Örsholmen Industrial Area. The listed base rate is 245 SEK gross per hour for 40 hours per week on rotating day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial air-handling units, extraction systems, fans, pumps, dampers, heat-recovery equipment, motors and variable-frequency drives.
• Diagnose faults in control cabinets, building-management or PLC-linked controls, sensors, actuators and temperature, pressure and airflow signals.
• Complete safe isolation, electrical measurements, component replacement, mechanical inspection, functional testing and controlled restart.
• Record measurements, faults, completed work and follow-up actions in the maintenance documentation.

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational training in industrial electrical engineering, automation, ventilation, HVAC, mechatronics or a related technical field, or equivalent documented practical experience.
• At least three years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial plant, production facility, technical-services company or comparable environment.
• English at B1 level or higher; Swedish is an advantage.
