Port Electrical and Automation Maintenance Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a Port Electrical and Automation Maintenance Technician for a confidential port and industrial services employer in Karlskrona, Sweden.

The position is full-time and on-site at Karlskrona Port on Verkö. The base rate is 250 SEK gross per hour for 40 hours per week on rotating day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low-voltage distribution, motor-control equipment, variable-frequency drives, sensors, PLC-linked control systems, pumps, conveyors and other port or industrial equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and automation faults using schematics, HMI information, PLC input and output status, test instruments and structured troubleshooting methods.
• Complete safe isolation, component replacement, functional testing, controlled restart and maintenance documentation in an active port and industrial environment.

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational training in industrial electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or a related technical field, or equivalent documented practical experience.
• At least three years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial plant, port, terminal, logistics facility or comparable technical environment.
• English at B1 level or higher; Swedish is an advantage.
