Industrial Automation and Process Control Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting an Industrial Automation and Process Control Technician for a confidential industrial manufacturer in Kalmar, Sweden.

The role is full-time and on-site on Torsåsgatan, with 40 hours per week on rotating day and evening shifts. The base rate is 250 SEK gross per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC-controlled production lines, robotic cells, motors, pumps, sensors, control cabinets and variable-frequency drives.
• Diagnose electrical, control-system and mechanical faults using HMI alarms, PLC input and output status, technical drawings and measuring tools.
• Replace defective components, test safety circuits, restore equipment in a controlled manner and document completed work.

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational training in automation, mechatronics, industrial electrical engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent documented practical experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience in industrial automation, process control, manufacturing or PLC-controlled production maintenance.
• English at B1 level or higher; Swedish is an advantage.
