Commercial HVAC and BMS Commissioning Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a Commercial HVAC and BMS Commissioning Technician for a full-time, on-site position based in Munsbach, Municipality of Schuttrange, Luxembourg. The end employer is confidential during the initial application stage.

The technician will test, commission and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, cooling and building automation systems in commercial properties. Assigned equipment may include air-handling units, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, pumps, fan-coil units, variable-air-volume boxes, dampers, control valves, temperature, pressure and air-quality sensors, energy meters, controllers and operator workstations.

Responsibilities include point-to-point checks, sensor calibration, actuator verification, alarm testing, trend review, functional performance tests, controlled parameter changes and complete commissioning records. Sequences, safety limits and network configurations must not be changed without authorisation.

The advertised base rate is €34.00 gross per paid hour for 40 paid hours per week. Exact daily hours, travel between assigned buildings, overtime, standby duties, allowances and compensation must be confirmed in the written offer and contract.

Applicants need a recognised qualification in HVAC, refrigeration, building automation, electrical engineering, energy systems or a related technical field; at least four years of relevant commissioning or service experience; working English; and practical competence with BMS controllers, HVAC equipment, electrical drawings, field instruments and diagnostic software. French or German is required for site coordination; Luxembourgish is an advantage.
