Airport Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting an Airport Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site position in Niederanven, Luxembourg. The worksite is in the Findel airport operations area. The end employer is confidential during the initial application stage.

The technician will inspect, diagnose, service and repair mobile and powered ground support equipment used around airport operations. The fleet may include baggage and cargo tractors, belt loaders, ground power units, passenger steps, service vehicles, trailers and dollies. Work covers diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, hydraulics, low-voltage electrical systems, batteries, charging equipment and safety interlocks.

Responsibilities include planned maintenance, defect diagnosis, functional testing, workshop and field repairs, accurate parts and labour records, shift handovers and safe return-to-service decisions within the technician's authorisation. The technician must follow lockout procedures, apron driving rules, foreign-object-debris controls and site security requirements.

The advertised base rate is €30.00 gross per paid hour for 40 paid hours per week. Exact shift times, any night, weekend or public-holiday rotation, overtime, allowances and compensation must be confirmed in the written offer and contract.

Applicants need a recognised qualification in automotive technology, heavy-vehicle maintenance, industrial mechanics, electromechanics or a related trade; at least four years of relevant equipment maintenance experience; working English; and practical diagnostic ability across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Previous airport GSE experience is advantageous. French, German or Luxembourgish is an advantage.
