Thermal Spa Water Treatment and Pool Plant Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a Thermal Spa Water Treatment and Pool Plant Technician for a full-time on-site position in Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg. The end employer is confidential during the initial application stage.

The technician will monitor thermal and freshwater pool circuits, circulation pumps, filters, heat exchangers, dosing equipment, tanks, valves, sensors and plant controls; record pH, disinfectant residual, conductivity, temperature, turbidity and other authorised operating parameters; and investigate alarms, abnormal readings, leaks, pressure loss or reduced flow.

Work includes collecting routine water samples under the approved plan, backwashing filters, cleaning strainers, checking dosing stock and containment, completing preventive maintenance, isolating mechanical or electrical equipment before intervention and keeping complete water-quality, chemical-use, maintenance and incident records. Out-of-range results must be escalated and affected equipment or water areas must not be returned to service without authorisation.

The base rate is €29.00 gross per hour for 40 paid hours per week. Exact start and end times, any early, weekend or call-out rota, overtime and applicable compensation must be confirmed in the written offer and contract.

Applicants need a recognised qualification in water treatment, process operations, building services, electromechanics or a related technical trade; at least four years of pool, spa or water-treatment plant experience; working English; and practical knowledge of filtration, circulation, dosing, sampling, chemical safety, safety data sheets, pumps, valves, sensors and operational records. French, German or Luxembourgish is an advantage.
