Open full-time temporary Industrial and Farm Equipment Mechanic vacancy in Houlton, Aroostook County, Maine 04730.The mechanic maintains, repairs and overhauls tractors, harvesters, potato-production machinery, trucks, trailers, irrigation equipment, pumps, conveyor systems, engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical components and wiring. The role includes diagnostics, preventive maintenance, welding, fabrication, sheet-metal repair, machining, parts ordering, field service and accurate repair records.The gross base rate is $24.27 per hour for an expected 57-hour week. The planned schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with required Saturday work and an unpaid meal break. Daily and weekly hours may change because of weather, crop conditions, equipment failures and operational needs.Employment and any temporary assignment from Poland require written assignment terms, valid U.S. work authorization, and confirmation of the real U.S. petitioning employer or authorized agent, host facility, housing, daily transport and reporting point.
