Recycling Sorter

Open full-time Recycling Sorter vacancy in Whitby, Ontario with MaViAl Sp. z o.o. Base pay is CAD 19.42 gross per hour.The role involves sorting recyclable materials, removing contamination, checking and weighing materials where required, packaging or moving sorted materials, cleaning machines and immediate work areas, and following safety procedures around conveyors, mobile equipment and waste streams.The work is on site and includes repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, manual handling and an industrial environment that may involve dust, noise, odours and temperature variation. Steel-toed safety footwear and other PPE may be required.Previous recycling, production, warehouse, sanitation or general-labour experience is useful. Job Bank classifies NOC 95109 as an occupation that usually requires short-term work experience and no formal education, with on-the-job training common.Standard schedule is 40 hours per week. For most Ontario employees, overtime begins after 44 hours in a work week at 1.5 times the regular rate, subject to applicable exemptions or special rules.Work location: Whitby, Ontario, Canada.
