Reefer Container Refrigeration and Electrical Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting an experienced Reefer Container Refrigeration and Electrical Technician for full-time, on-site work in Livorno, Tuscany, Italy.

Main responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair refrigerated containers and compatible genset units.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration circuits, compressors, fans, sensors, controllers and electrical power systems.
• Perform leak checks, pressure and temperature tests, evacuation, charging and brazing only within the candidate’s authorised scope.
• Complete pre-trip inspections, functional tests and safe return-to-service checks.
• Record work, measurements, refrigerant movements, parts used and unresolved faults in the maintenance system.

Requirements:

• At least three years of reefer-container or comparable commercial refrigeration experience.
• Vocational qualification in refrigeration, electrical, electronic or mechatronic maintenance.
• Ability to interpret refrigeration and electrical diagrams and use diagnostic instruments safely.
• Valid refrigerant-handling certification accepted in Italy for the work performed.
• Driving licence valid in Italy and sufficient Italian or English for technical and safety communication.

The base rate is €20.00 gross per hour for 40 hours per week. Work is based at assigned container-terminal and depot facilities in Livorno. Applications are accepted only through the official OpeningsHub resume form.
