Level II NDT Inspector for Welded Components

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is hiring an experienced Level II NDT Inspector for full-time, on-site inspection of welded components in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

Main responsibilities:

• Review drawings, inspection plans, acceptance criteria and approved NDT procedures.
• Perform visual, penetrant, magnetic-particle or ultrasonic testing only within the valid certification scope.
• Check instruments, reference standards and consumables before use.
• Interpret and classify indications against the specified acceptance criteria.
• Produce traceable inspection reports and escalate non-conforming results.

Requirements:

• Valid ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in at least two methods relevant to the assigned inspections.
• At least four years of industrial NDT experience on welded or fabricated components.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, weld symbols and written inspection procedures.
• Sufficient Italian or English for technical and safety instructions.
• Legal right to work in Italy or the ability to satisfy the applicable legal employment requirements before work begins.
