Marine Electrical and Shore Power Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is hiring an experienced Marine Electrical and Shore Power Technician for full-time, on-site work in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.

Main responsibilities:

• Inspect, test and troubleshoot low-voltage marine electrical systems.
• Service shore power connections, distribution panels, motors, pumps, chargers and battery systems.
• Trace faults using electrical drawings and calibrated test instruments.
• Perform insulation, continuity, voltage and current measurements within the assigned scope.
• Record test results, repairs and unresolved defects in service documentation.

Requirements:

• At least four years of electrical installation or maintenance experience, including marine, port or industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and use multimeters, clamp meters and insulation testers.
• Sufficient Italian or English for technical and safety instructions.
• Legal right to work in Italy or the ability to satisfy the applicable legal employment requirements before work begins.
