Heavy Vehicle Workshop Team Leader

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a full-time Heavy Vehicle Workshop Team Leader for a permanent workshop position in Montpellier, France.

The role pays €14.00–€18.00 gross per hour for 35 daytime hours per week, normally Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, support and develop a team of heavy vehicle mechanics and technicians.
• Organise preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
• Assign work according to priorities and each team member's technical skills.
• Track repairs and verify the quality of completed work.
• Provide technical support during complex diagnostic and repair operations.
• Monitor deadlines, workshop procedures and occupational safety rules.
• Improve working methods and workshop organisation.
• Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• At least two years of relevant heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
• Previous successful experience leading or coordinating a technical team.
• Strong practical knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanical systems.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and monitor workshop activity.
• Leadership, accuracy, autonomy and a service-focused approach.
• Working knowledge of workshop safety requirements.
• Legal eligibility to work in France before employment begins.
