Steel Frame Erector

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a full-time Steel Frame Erector for on-site construction work in La Rochelle, France.

Pay is €14.00–€17.00 gross per hour, depending on verified skills and experience. The schedule is 35 daytime hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Position, assemble and secure structural steel members in line with drawings and site instructions.
• Read erection drawings, identify components and confirm connection points before assembly.
• Use access platforms, hand tools and job-specific equipment safely.
• Check alignment, levels, fixings and completed assemblies.
• Coordinate lifts and installation sequences with the site team.
• Maintain a safe work area and follow work-at-height controls.

Requirements:

• At least two years of steel-frame erection or structural-metalwork experience.
• A CAP, BEP or equivalent qualification in metal construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Current CACES PEMP 3A/3B (R486) certification.
• Previous experience working safely at height.
• Legal eligibility to work in France before employment begins.
