Building Envelope Design Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a full-time building envelope design technician for on-site work in Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Pay is €13.50–€18.00 gross per hour, depending on verified skills and experience. The schedule is 39 daytime hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Review technical documents for roofing, waterproofing and cladding projects.
• Prepare execution drawings and technical plans in AutoCAD or Revit.
• Complete measurements, quantity take-offs and material schedules.
• Prepare supplier consultation files, request prices and compare offers.
• Coordinate technical information with site managers, project managers, architects and control offices.
• Update drawings during construction and help prepare as-built project files.

Requirements:

• At least six months of experience in a comparable construction design role.
• Ability to develop, read and interpret technical plans.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, cladding and building-envelope systems.
• Organised, analytical, independent and able to manage several project files.
• Legal eligibility to work in France before employment begins.
