Roof Waterproofing Installer

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a full-time roof waterproofing installer for on-site construction work in Bayonne, France.

Pay is €15.00 gross per hour. The schedule is 35 daytime hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, strip, sand and dry roof surfaces before waterproofing.
• Apply bituminous systems, synthetic membranes and liquid resin.
• Install associated thermal insulation materials.
• Form upstands and complete torch-welded waterproof seams.
• Install parapet, guardrail and skylight details where assigned.
• Follow work-at-height, fire prevention and personal protective equipment procedures.

Requirements:

• Vocational roofing or waterproofing training is preferred.
• Previous roofing or waterproofing experience is an advantage; trained beginners may apply.
• Ability to prepare substrates and apply waterproofing systems accurately.
• Safe handling of tools and torch-applied materials.
• Ability to work safely at height and follow site procedures.
• Legal eligibility to work in France before employment begins.
