Bioprocess Automation and Instrumentation Technician

MaViAl Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a Bioprocess Automation and Instrumentation Technician for a confidential life-science and bioprocess employer in Lund, Sweden.

The position is full-time and on-site at Ideon Science Park. The listed base rate is 260 SEK gross per hour for 40 hours per week, primarily on weekday day shifts with planned evening maintenance, calibration or commissioning windows.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, calibrate and maintain pressure, temperature, flow, pH, conductivity and dissolved-oxygen instruments, switches, transmitters, analyzers and associated signal interfaces.
• Test pumps, valves, actuators, dosing equipment, utility skids, process sensors, PLC or SCADA I/O, interlocks and alarm chains used in laboratory and pilot-scale bioprocess systems.
• Perform loop checks, functional testing, preventive maintenance, controlled troubleshooting, commissioning support and documented corrective work.
• Diagnose electrical, instrumentation, communication and control faults using P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, electrical schematics, logs and approved test equipment.
• Record calibration results, deviations, configuration changes, replaced components and follow-up actions in accurate technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational or technical education in instrumentation, automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, process technology or a related field, or equivalent documented practical experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience in bioprocessing, pharmaceuticals, food production, chemical processing, water treatment, process equipment or comparable automated systems.
• English at B1 level or higher; Swedish is an advantage.
